tralala
yes, i’m posting for the sake of posting.
chinese o’s sucked. school is mundane. a maths is getting better though.
the line is yummayyyy.
=)
whee~
so, school’s out. or atleast it’s supposed to be. don’t get me started on all the lessons we have to attend during the HOLIDAYS. ah well, all in the life of being an o level candidate.
today has been a horrid day. truly, utterly horrid. thanks to bestie for cheering me up. oddly enough by saying hardly anything.

p.s.:if you’re reading, comment lah! i want to know whose giving me all these views. o.O
zzz.
so i haven’t been to school for the past 2 days because of this fzucking flu bug i’ve caught from i don’t know where. i think i’ve already used up 1 1/2 boxes of tissue. had my first a maths tuition lesson yesterday evening during which i hardly absorbed anything because of the throbbing headache i was having. bah. this blows lah.
by the way, I’M GOING FOR XTINA! WHOOOOO~
voicelessness.
okay. so i lost my voice. i sound like a man now. this is just too tragic. bah.
today was alright i guess. had the briefing for mother tongue o’s that’ll be coming this monday. i’m not even a bit nervous. maybe that’s just cos i know how fantabulously i’ll perform for chinese. skip forward to lunch time. me and steph walked to haig road banquet for lunch and most importantly, putu piring. i won’t run for 2.4km but i will walk a total of 40mins just for food. i really have to get my priorities right. at this point, my throat is itching so badly that i have the urge to reach in and claw at it mercilessly. i then cough throughout the whole of the mock chinese paper and gradually lose my voice. my day ends here with me sounding like one of them thai cabaret ‘girls’ (just without that gorgeously perfect face).
rewind a little to the drive home from school, where i made an agreement with my mom. an agreement that i am starting to regret. in exchange for her not nagging about any of my results till o level results and permission to go for christina’s concert, i have given away 3 years of my freedom. no computer, no handphone, no going out, only half of my current allowance for the whole of my polytechnic education should i not perform up to par for my o levels. after the 3 years, we can NEGOTIATE a lift of punishment, but till then, i will remain a social hermit.
i am quite impressed by my courage of striking that deal which by the way, she has agreed to. hopefully, this is good enough motivation for me to slog my ass off because, as we all know, syaza is one very very lazy person.
today has been one very very eventful day. here’s to tk class of o7 making the school proud.
back to basics.
i have only one thing to say.
CHRISTINA AGUILERA IS COMING TO SINGAPORE AND I MUST, I REPEAT, I MUST GO!
FTs.
today started off with a really good talk on macbeth at RELC by the singapore teacher’s union. associate professor walter lim (he’s from NUS) really managed to spur my interest in that seemingly boring book. he pointed out a theme that i’ve never noticed before and suggested a few ideas which me and steph had a good time discussing. it seems so pathetic and nerdy, but i really enjoyed it. plus, some girl in the balcony level (we were seated on the lower lever) said ‘undercover slut will fuck you like no other’ right into the microphones that were placed around the audi for the Q&A session. royce seemed quite excited by the statement, i must say.
after that, lunched at plaza singapura’s yoshi and window shopped a little. then sent babysis for drama at act3. on the way home, mom and dad once again fell into their number 1 favourite topic, the ‘foreign talents’. now, i’m about to get pretty opinion-heavy now so if you find opinionated people offensive, please stop reading. also, you are muchly welcomed to stop reading at anytime and visit something a little milder such as http://www.cuteoverload.com/
castle dognin.
mwahahaha. see, i’m updating!
anyways, just got back from dinner awhile ago with mommy’s business partner (sort of), Rafik. he’s algerian (and muslim) but he’s so french he does that cheek kiss thing that the french always do. haha. he’s with dognin [don-yan], which is here for this tax free show. its this handbag thinger that mommy’s bringing in to SG(which by the way is slated for an august opening in takashimaya so those of you with gimongous wallets go check that out). we brought him to muthu’s curry (yum) for dinner and his tolerance for spicy food is better than mine. so embarrassing can.
i, lucky lucky lucky girl that i am, have been invited to stay at castle dognin, which is owned by his partner’s family, for the summer in france. YES, i am overjoyed. the only catch is that i have to go brush up on my very very skimpy knowledge of french or i’m gonna be completely lost there. pah, small issue if i get to go to FRANCE. cute guys, high fashion, beautiful scenery, gorgeous architecture, great food all to me for a few weeks in a wonderfulwonderful castle. does anyone want souveniers? no, sorry, you can’t have the eiffel tower or the louvre.
so i’m off to plan camp bunkings now. gnight people!

teehee. yes, another one.
so, MYEs are over and the results are out. can’t say i’m too happy with them but i’m not exactly shocked because everyone knows exactly how hard i’ve been working. no matter, it has served as a pretty good wake up call for me.
and yes, for all of you who know me too well. this is another blog attempt. and this time i’m gonna prove all of you wrong. i will post regularly. or atleast i’ll try to. try being the operative word.
today was uneventful i guess. poking fun at the teachers (talking with the hands in english. a sound of thunder in lit), laughing, emo-ing, sleeping, eating in class, messaging under the table and what have you. no, we didn’t get into trouble. yes, that’s 4 years of cultivating ways and means of stealth and secrecy. or maybe that’s 10/20/30/40 years of teachers learning how to ignore us and our evil ways.
i promise(yes, i’ll keep it) another post tomorrow. pray it’s something more interesting.
